Yesterday at 4pm, we have arrived do J Chavez Int. airport after a 12 hours flight from Madrid. A company taking care of catering services for IBERIA was in strike so with a plastic bag of sandwiches and without music video or any servicis on board, we spent the flight playing cards.
Our Peruvian friends were waiting for us at the airport and thanks to them and the party we had until 1am local time, it feels like returning only after a month spent abroad… feels like home… No somos gringos, somos PERUANOS! (we are not gringos, we are peruvians!)
Today, we will stroll a bit arround Lima, visit El museo de Oro, do some essential shopping, buy our bus tickets to Huaraz and tomorrow, we will set out on the way. I will be back with some pictures from Huaraz shortly.
The adventure has started and we are looking forward to it and so are you, hopefully!
